David’s principal areas of practice span those of Chambers itself with an emphasis on general common law and chancery law.
His practice includes landlord and tenant (residential and commercial), building disputes, company, insolvency, land and neighbour disputes, licensing, trusts, wills and probate. He is equally happy and at home before the lower courts through to the High Court and the Court of Appeal. His extensive business background gives him a broad base upon which to advise on many commercial areas with an ability to find pragmatic solutions to actual and potential problems.
David is an accredited mediator and a member of the Chambers Mediation group.
David is also instructed in criminal law matters on behalf of the defence as well prosecuting authorities appearing in courts at all levels. He adopts a friendly but robust approach to clients.
