Fergus specialises in employment and discrimination law and related areas.  He accepts instructions for claimants and respondents in the employment tribunals and civil courts.  His work ranges from straightforward unfair dismissal to the more complex areas of discrimination, contractual disputes, restrictive covenants and TUPE.

 

As well as advocacy services, he offers expert advice and drafting for the purposes of litigation and otherwise.  His clients include local authorities and multinational companies.

 

His previous experience includes a post as a judicial assistant to the Court of Appeal Civil Division.  Before joining the bar he worked in corporate tax accounting in the City.
