Our Barristers are supported by an efficient and responsive clerking team who strive to provide a reliable service to legal professionals, businesses and individuals alike.

Our clerks are on hand to advise on the availability, suitability, and cost of barristers. We appreciate that different cases benefit from different approaches and we strive to tailor our service to meet the requirements of each individual client.

Our Practice Manager Alex Carter-Gaunt has been with us right from our beginnings, starting his career as our first junior clerk and progressing to assistant Practice Manager. In 2012 Alex was promoted to chambers Practice Manager. Alex has over 20 year’s clerking experience having also clerked at chambers based in Chelmsford and Derby previously.

Alex has overall responsibility for the Clerks’ Room and the Practice Management of chambers, working closely with chambers Management Committee.

Outside of work Alex’s interests include golf, cooking, travelling, socialising and enjoying spending time with his family, whilst also being an avid Arsenal supporter.
