Harriette specialises in in all aspects of Family Law and Civil litigation.

Harriette was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2012 and prior to the Bar, worked at several top solicitors firms in London gaining experience in commercial and construction litigation.

Family Law practice comprises of both Local Authority work and private client matters as well as ancillary relief. Harriette acts for the Local Authority, Parents, Grandparents and the Children’s Guardian.

Harriette accepts instructions in all aspects of Civil Law and has significant experience in personal injury law, employers liability, occupiers liability and RTA cases. Representing both Claimant and Defendant on a regular basis, Harriette has built strong connections with several solicitors firms and advises regularly both in writing and in conference. Harriette regularly appears in court in Landlord and Tenant matters and has built up a good working knowledge of this area of law, including mortgage repossession hearings.

Further to her civil practice, Harriette accepts instructions in misfeasance in public office, considering malicious prosecutions and matters against the police.

Harriette has experience in defamation cases and has a reported case of Sooben v Badal [2017] EWHC 2638 (QB)

Harriette is qualified to accept instructions directly from members of the public pursuant to the Bar’s Public Access Scheme (also referred to as ‘Direct Access’ or ‘Direct Public Access’).
